Horrific – Animal Legs Fly-Tipped In Machester

Startling images have surfaced of discarded animal limbs among piles of rubbish in an alleyway. This gruesome scene was discovered earlier today (March 3) in Levenshulme, south Manchester.

Photographs provided to the Manchester Evening News showcase the fly-tipped refuse scattered in an alleyway off Chapel Street, between properties on Broom Lane and Garfield Avenue. The dismal pictures expose numerous filled bin bags lining a portion of the alleyway, interspersed with boxes, wood, and other refuse materials.

In addition to the refuse, two dismembered animal legs can be spotted on the ground. Manchester City Council has confirmed that the fly-tipping episode has been notified to town hall officials today.

Councillor Lee-Ann Igbon, executive member for vibrant neighbourhoods, stated: “Fly-tipping is unpleasant, unhygienic and totally unjust to local residents who dispose of their waste appropriately, but are forced to live among the garbage left by a selfish minority. This fly-tipped waste has been reported to the council today.

“Our teams have investigated the issue and it has already been passed on to our partners at Biffa to take action. I would like to thank the residents who notified us of the problem.

“Fly-tipping in our city is intolerable. We will always look into illegally dumped waste and we will seek to prosecute those who are found guilty.”
