We are clearing out the house in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea of an elderly aunt who has moved into care. It is a one bedroom bungalow. There is a garage.
We have done a lot of work already ourselves removing all clothing, personal belongings, paper work and bric-a-brac. Textiles and rubbish from the house have been bagged in black plastic refuse sacks.
What is left is a relatively small amount of furniture, the contents of the kitchen cupboards (all food has been removed), and the contents of the garage, which was used for some storage.
I estimate that it would take 2 people no more than about 3 hours to clear the house and garage now.
We are also wanting the house cleaned once it has been emptied.

A few weeks ago my family and I started clearing my uncles three bedroom bungalow in Newbiggin-by-the-sea. Once we had cleared all of the smaller items out of the house we realized we didn’t have the means and time to clear the rest.
After receiving a quote from a company called Northern House Clearance, we went ahead to book their services.
A team of three men turned up in a large furniture van to clear the remaining items from the bungalow. It only took them about an hour, they packed the van very tight to make sure all of the larger items of furniture could fit as well as a few large items from the garage.
