I’m selling a property in Kinross as an estate executor, and need to clear the house except for built in white goods etc. The property is a cottage with three smallish bedrooms, dining room and sitting room. the house is easily accessible and there is adequate street parking.
The sale date is mooted for December 2018, but this is not yet confirmed. For insurance purposes I don’t want to clear the house prematurely.
Would AFTA supply me with the details of a reliable, trustworthy house clearance business working in the Kinross area. I don’t live in the area, but a key could be collected from lawyers in Inverness or sent to the house clearance companies head office.

Hi Lindsey, on November the 7th I hired a company called Scotland House Clearance to clear my late aunts three bedroom farmhouse and double garage located in Dunkeld prior to the sale completion. The sale went through on the 9th, the house had to be completely cleared including carpets, white goods, curtains etc.
Due to work commitments I was unable to be present on the day of the clearance so arranged for the house clearance professionals to collect the keys from a nearby estate agents. The team arrived to clear the property at 9am, keeping me updated of the progress throughout the day, they cleared the house including the double garage by roughly 2 o clock, they then proceeded to clean the house afterwards, I also booked this service prior to the date.
The team sent me photographs once they were finished and handed the keys back to the estate agents. Once i finished work I went around to the house to have a look, I was amazed at such a good job the team had done. Amazing service throughout.
