Hi there, I am looking to buy my first home, and have potentially found a property in Kendal that will be going to auction. I wanted to find a reliable and licensed house clearance business in he Kendal area to clear out everything from the property, so that building/repair work could then begin.
It is filled with cardboard boxes and packaging materials along with old carpet and underlay from 3 rooms as well as gardening materials and equipment including lawn mower and strimmer, from her garage, a 5ft long sideboard from her living room and possibly if the local charity shop no longer wants them, a TV, DVD player, 2 pouffe, a mirror, an electric fire and surround, a standard lamp, a vacuum cleaner, a trouser press, a paper shredder.
The property is going to auction next month so I want to make sure I factor in the costs for clear out, and repairs as much as I can. The property is in Kendal and doesn’t have a driveway, but does have a fairly clear road to the front so a van can park.
Many thanks and any advice regarding a licensed house clearance service is appreciated. Flo
Hi Flo,
Last month I bought a three bedroom detached house at auction in Kendal. I bought it as a repossession, the house was completely full of someone’s belongings. I too received a few quotes before I had purchased the house, I found a company called Northern House Clearance, after reading a few of there many reviews I decided to use their services.
The team that arrived from Northern House Clearance have done an outstanding job having this house cleared ready for me to have some repairs done, it took them roughly four hours to clear the house, they also donated a lot of the furniture, clothing and smalls to local charities within Kendal.
If you have a look on Northern House Clearance website and read some of their many reviews. All of their details can be found here Northern House Clearance
