Good Morning AFTA, I am requiring details of a specialist house clearance company to clear my grans verminous and cluttered house in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea some time next month.

My gran passed away last year, I have been putting off clearing her home due to the extreme clutter in it, I planned to clear it myself but have had no time, I need a house clearance company who specialise in clearing verminous houses to do the job for me.

Because the house has not been touched since my gran passed, it has rodents and insect infestations throughout, the enormous piles of rubbish, clutter and food waste are covered in webs of dust.

The house has two bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen and a conservatory.

You can just get through the front door, once in you are met with rubbish piled ankle height, there is what looks like a half-eaten chair in the hallway.

The living room has a three-piece sofa suite, a huge amount of rubbish bags containing food waste, moldy dog food bowls and vast amounts of cardboard boxes.

The dining room is pretty much the same as the living room, there is a dining table underneath all the rubbish bags and clutter.

The kitchen is small, having a pile of empty moldy food containers in one corner, there is a rubbish bin that is giving off a bad stench containing food waste, the bench tops are piled high with unopened food and the fridge freezer has been switched off for over a year with decaying food waste inside.

The conservatory is pretty basic with boxes of bric-a-brac, a standard lamp and a two seated sofa, there is loose rubbish lying around too but I don’t believe there to be any food waste in this room.

The bathroom is empty and does not need clearing.

In both bedrooms you can not see the beds, there are mountains of dirty laundry, cigarette buds, dirty dishes and food waste covering the floor, furniture and blocking the storage cupboards.

I believe that nothing can be salvaged from my grans home and the house clearance specialists will need to wear protective gear to carry out the clearance.

Any information on a specialist house clearance company would be much appreciated.

Many thanks, Andrew.

Good Morning Andrew. Last year I was faced with clearing my good friends home in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea after she passed away.

I had been good friends with her for over 20 years and had no idea that she had been living in such a mess, her home had become filthy over time and I believe she could no longer keep on top of it.

When I entered her home for the first time in five years, I couldn’t believe my eyes, it was exactly how you are describing your grans home.

After three skips and a full week of just clearing the hallway, I realised I had to hire a specialist company to finish clearing her home.

I searched for specialist companies who cover the London area and came across The Cluttered House Clearance Company, I liaised with Tiffany from head office who explained the services they offer and provided me with a complete quote.

I booked for the hoarded house clearance specialists to arrive the same week to carry out the clearance.

I met the team at my friends home at 9 am on the day, they were professionally dressed in full protective uniforms and were polite, they began the clearance straight away.

It took two days to completely clear the house of all rubbish, furniture and carpets, and clean the house afterwards.

The team worked hard and were very professional with keeping me updated on how the clearance was going. They cleared one room at a time starting with the worst first.

On the first day they cleared the two bedrooms and the kitchen, I was so embarrassed to be in the house due to how badly dirty and verminous it was, the stench was so horrendous that I stood outside for the two days.

On the second day, the team cleared the bathroom, living room and dining room, removing the carpets as they went.

Once the house was completely empty, the team of three completely cleaned it, they showed me around the now empty house, I was amazed at how well they had done, the house looked brand new, there was no dirt or smell anywhere.

I gave the house a lick of paint and put new carpets down, you would never know that it was once riddled with rodents and piled high with food waste and rubbish.

The specialists had provided me with an outstanding service, they were very professional and polite and never once judged.

If you speak to Tiffany on 07731383671 she will be able to explain the services they offer and give you a quote.

I hope you get sorted.
