Hoarders House Clearance Redbridge

Good Afternoon, I am requiring details of a house clearance company who can clear my elderly mums three bedroom house in Redbridge – London.

My mum moved into residential care last week, and my brother and I have removed her belongings with her and have tried to clear her home ourselves, once we cleared the hallway we realised we needed a specialist house clearance company in to finish the job.

My mum has been a hoarder for as long as I can remember, her home is very cluttered throughout, I don’t know how she managed to move around for so long.

The first floor has a kitchen, two lounges, a dining room, a bedroom, a utility room and a storage cupboard.

The upstairs has two bedrooms, a bathroom and three storage cupboards.

The downstairs hallway is now empty so it will be easy to navigate to the rooms.

The kitchen floor is empty, the bench tops are completely covered with boxes of junk, bric-a-brac, a kettle, toaster etc, the cupboards are rammed with crockery and food, there is a fridge freezer to be removed too.

The utility room attached to the kitchen has a washing machine, a dryer and a huge amount of tools in the cupboards and on the floor.

The main living room is where my mum has stayed for the past few years, it has a single electric bed and mattress, a three-piece sofa suite, a sideboard, a nest of tables and two wing back armchairs, surrounding the furniture is a huge amount of clutter, including books, rubbish, empty boxes, bric-a-brac etc.

The second lounge has a three-piece sofa suite, two shelving units and a nest of tables, surrounding them is stacks upon stacks of craft magazines, there is an old singer sewing table and a huge amount of craft supplies.

The dining room has an old-fashioned eight seated dining table with chairs, a sideboard, an occasional chair and a trolley, on top of the dining table is boxes of bric-a-brac and crockery, on the floor there are boxes of craft supplies, alcohol, ornaments and books, there is also a large amount of loose clutter including rubbish.

The downstairs bedroom is where my mums in home carer lived, there is a double bed and mattress, two wardrobes, a desk and two bedside tables.

The storage cupboard has an ironing board, tools, coat hangers and cleaning products in (this is under the stairs).

The upstairs is rammed, most of the rooms have been barricaded with clutter, the bathroom and two of the storage cupboards are the only rooms we have been able to access, both storage cupboards are filled with clothing, shoes and board games.

Because we can’t access the bedrooms, we would need the team to find my mums jewellery, passport and will for us, has anyone done this before?

As well as the rooms cleared, we want all the carpets removed too.

Any info would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks, Mick.
