Good Afternoon, I am requiring information for a reputable house clearance firm to clear my daughters cluttered house in Hounslow.
Last month my daughter confided in me about being a compulsive hoarder, for the past five years she has pushed me away and I never understood why until then.
She moved in with me a few weeks ago so that we can arrange to remove her belongings and have the clutter cleared from her home.
My daughter is a nurse who mostly works night shifts, she always looks immaculate, you would never know that she was a compulsive hoarder.
I visited the house this morning and have never seen anything like it, it reminds me of most of the houses that you see on Kim and Aggie.
Her home consists of three bedrooms, it is a first floor flat with an outside storage cupboard too.
As soon as I walked through the front door I was met with mountains of junk mail and rubbish.
The living room has two sofas, an armchair, a large coffee table and a television unit, surrounding the furniture is huge mounds of clutter, rubbish and boxes of ornaments and books.
The kitchen is filthy, the bench tops are filled with empty food containers and dishes full of rotted food waste, the microwave is covered in grease and the fridge freezer is filled with rotten food waste, the whole kitchen is in a state, I would say this is the worst room by far.
The utility room has been used as a laundry room, there is a washing machine and a dryer, in the corner is a huge pile of dirty laundry, it is covered in webs.
The dining room has a large dining table with eight chairs, a huge sideboard and an occasional chair, covering the table is a pile of clutter including rubbish, there is stacked boxes everywhere containing clothing, books, ornaments etc.
The first bedroom is literally stacked to the ceiling with clutter, there is only a small space where you can see flooring.
The second bedroom has been used as a storage room, it is filled with boxes piled to the ceiling, in these boxes there are books, clothing, ornaments and bric-a-brac.
In my daughters main bedroom, the bed is piled high with food waste, laundry, rubbish and junk, the wardrobes can’t be accessed due to clutter surrounding the doors, there is a storage cupboard in the corner filled with old magazines, toys etc.
The bathroom is disgusting, the toilet is clogged with toilet paper, the bath is filled with rubbish and cleaning products and the shower is filled with bags of dirty laundry.
My daughter has removed everything that she wishes to keep, everything remaining in the house needs to be cleared, including all carpets, curtains, blinds and light shades, we also require a clean to be carried out afterwards.
Any info would be hugely appreciated.
Thank you, Samantha.
